The Liberal race agenda
This ongoing series is not intended as ‘gotcha’ style one-upmanship on the issue of racism, but rather a counter argument to the view that racism is part and parcel of the Conservative/Republican movement. It is an indictment of the racial agenda of Liberals. It will integrate the statements and the policies of liberals and will show how the policies and the statements are of a whole cloth – the same race-obsessed cloth which stained the early Democratic Party. The series will show how Liberals and Democrats have not only not left the racist views of the early Progressive movement behind, but rather have developed a different strategy to achieve the same ends of the early racists within their ranks.
The following are quotes attributed to prominent liberal/Democratic leaders and activists regarding blacks, Jews, and other racial/ethnic. religious minorities. All of these (with the exception of the Truman quote) date after the alleged switch in party affiliation (supposedly based on racist leanings) often alleged by Liberals to have occurred.
Excluded from this page are the myriad of anti-white statements from white, black, and Hispanic leaders and activists, such as those made by Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Left-wing journalist Jonathan Valania, etc. These views are widely known.
“(Obama’s) a nice person, he’s very articulate this is what’s been used against him, but he couldn’t
sell watermelons if you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic.” — Dan Rather

Targeting Minnesota Republican Rep. John Kline for defeat in November, stating Kline”embodies the sellouts that keep this town running”,
comedian Bill Maher admits “I’ve never heard of John Kline” adding ” but he sounds like he might be Jewish.”….Still keeping it classy, Bill.
“A few years ago, (Barack Obama) would have been
getting us coffee.” — Bill Clinton to Ted Kennedy
(Game Change by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann)
“Let me see one of you adopt one of those ugly black babies.”
— Abortionist Ashutosh Ron Virmani

“You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless
you have a slight Indian Accent.” — Vice President Joe Biden

“I do not think it is an exaggeration at all to say to my friend from
West Virginia [Sen. Robert C. Byrd, a former Ku Klux Klan recruiter]
that he would have been a great senator at any moment. . . .
He would have been right during the great conflict of civil war in this nation.”
— Former Democratic Senator Christopher Dodd (D.,Conn.)
(quoted in the Washington Times, go here)
“(Harry Reid) was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that
the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially
one such as Obama — a ‘light-skinned’ African American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless
he wanted to have one.”
— Harry Reid’s comments reported by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann
Joe Biden redux….
Referring to bankers who would ‘take advantage’ of those in military service by offering them ‘bad loans’:
“Shylocks who took advantage of these women and men while overseas.”
“I think one man is just as good as another so long as he’s not a n*gger or a Chinaman.
Uncle Will says that the Lord made a White man from dust, a n*gger from mud,
then He threw up what was left and it came down a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese
and Japs. So do I. It is race prejudice, I guess. But I am strongly of the opinion
Negroes ought to be in Africa, Yellow men in Asia and White men in Europe and America.”
-Harry Truman (1911) in a letter to his future wife Bess
“You’d find these potentates from down in Africa, you know, rather than eating each other, they’d
just come up and get a good square meal in Geneva.” — Fritz Hollings (D, S.C.)
(reported by the New York Times, go here)
Sen Harry Reid redux….
To the Asian Chamber of Commerce: “I don’t think you’re smarter than anybody else, but you’ve convinced a lot of us you are….One problem that I’ve had today is keeping my Wongs straight”.
[author’s note “Still keeping it classy, Harry?”]
“Blacks and Hispanics are “too busy eating watermelons and tacos”
to learn how to read and write.” — Mike Wallace, CBS News
( during preparation for a 60 Minutes TV program on insurance fraud in 1981.)
“‘Hymies.’ ‘Hymietown.’” — Jesse Jackson’s description of New York City
while on the 1984 presidential campaign trail.
“You f*cking Jew b@stard.” — Hillary Clinton to political operative Paul Fray. This was revealed in “State of a Union: Inside
the Complex Marriage of Bill and Hillary Clinton” and has been verified by Paul Fray and three witnesses.
And, perhaps the most relevant quotes. This from President Lyndon B. Johnson, Liberal hero and signer of the 1964 Civil Rights Act:
“I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years”
(from Inside the White House by Ronald Kessler)
and on the other hand, for some honesty on the Liberal ‘race agenda’ we have this:
“Tainting the tea party movement with the charge of racism is proving to be an effective strategy for Democrats. There is no evidence that tea party adherents are any more racist than other Republicans, and indeed many other Americans. But getting them to spend their time purging their ranks and having candidates distance themselves should help Democrats win in November. Having one’s opponent rebut charges of racism is far better than discussing joblessness.”
— Mary Frances Berry, former Chairwoman, US Commission on Civil Rights
This is by no means a complete quotations page. It will be updated continuously each time Liberals have another ‘gaffe’ and say what they really believe.
